On July 13, 2024, at 0941 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the 100 block of West Wildwood for a reported kitchen fire.
Note: On October 12, 2024, at 0909 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to this same vacant house for another fire.
Time of Alarm: 0941 hours
On Scene: 0943 hours
Under Control: 1002 hours
The first firefighters found moderate smoke coming from the front door and rear of the residence. Firefighters entered the home and extinguished the fire.
Two adults escaped the home on their own. No injuries to civilians or firefighters.
