FWFD: House Fire, 4600 Spatz Avenue

On February 25, 2024, at 0037 hours, a neighbor called the Fort Wayne Fire Department upon observing heavy fire coming from the front of a house in the 4600 block of Spatz Avenue.

Time of Alarm: 0037 hours
On Scene: 0041 hours
Under Control: 0056 hours

Crews arrived and immediately began fire suppression while ensuring that everyone was out of the house. There were six individuals at home and no pets. Fire and smoke damage was extensive throughout the structure. The fire was placed under control in under 15 minutes without injury to fire personnel or civilians.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
