On October 5, 2020, at 1410 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department was dispatched to the report of an armed robbery in a residence in the 2900 block of Lillie Street.

Details/Summary:
At approximately 2:10 pm on October 5, 2020 officers were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery at a residence at 2913 Lillie Street.
The resident reported the robbery to be a home invasion and that he was held at gunpoint. Officers quickly arrived in the area and located a subject close to the residence that reportedly met the description of the suspect. At this time that subject is a person of interest in the investigation.
It is unknown at this time if anyone was injured during the robbery. Fort Wayne Police Officers and Detectives are currently on scene gathering more information. This investigation is on-going at this time and this is just preliminary information.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
