
On September 3, 2020, at 1654 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department arrested Darryl “Antone” Davis on a charge of murder related to the homicide at the Shell Quick Stop at 3024 East State Boulevard.

Details/Summary:
Fort Wayne Homicide and Vice Narcotics Detectives along with EST, CRT and ASU units were sent to 2546 River Cove Trl to serve a murder warrant on Darryl “Antone” Davis. Davis is wanted in connection to the homicide at the Shell Quick Stop located at 3024 E State Blvd early yesterday morning. Davis was taken into custody without incident moments after police arrived at the apartment.
The arrest came after a nonstop investigation into the shooting death of a young male at that location. Great police work along with numerous tips, by the public, aided in piecing together information that lead to the arrest. We are grateful for the trust bestowed upon us by this community to make it safer. Together we will make that happen.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
