Details/Summary:
Shortly before 7:00 PM on Sunday August 23, 2020 Officers of the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 6300 Block of Chaddsford drive in reference to a reported shooting.
While still Enroute to the scene Officers were now advised that there was possibly 2 subjects that had been shot and were down.
Upon Officers arrival on scene they located 2 adult males that were both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and initially both subjects were listed with possible Life Threatening Injuries.
Both Victims were transported to a local hospital and a short time later Officers on scene were advised that one victim had been upgraded to Non-Life Threatening Injuries and the other victim was still listed with Life Threatening Injuries from the Emergency Room Physician.
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians were both called to the scene to began speaking with numerous victims as well as gathering any evidence from the scene to assist in this incident.
Detectives are asking that anyone with any information regarding this incident to please call the Fort Wayne Police Department Detective Bureau at 427-1201 or Allen County Crime stoppers at 436-7867.
This incident is being investigated by the Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
Assisting in this Investigation was the Fort Wayne Air Support Unit, Fort Wayne Fire Department, and Three Rivers Ambulance Authority.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
