Details/Summary:
On Saturday, 07/11/2020, at approximately 2:21 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to 3520 East Dupont Road, the Hampton Inn, reference an assist for paramedics. They were at the hotel providing medical treatment to an unresponsive female. The female/adult was later pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics. Homicide detectives and Crime Scene Investigators were summoned to assist in this death investigation.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office will release the deceased identity along with the cause and manner of death. This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
