
It was confirmed by the Fort Wayne Police Department on February 20, 2020, at 0929 hours, that the 15 year-old victim had died as a result of his injuries.

Location: 2800 block of Euclid Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana
Victim: Fifteen-year-old Male
On Wednesday, 02/19/2020, at approximately 7:07 PM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 2800 block of Euclid Avenue reference a shooting. Officers arrived and located the male/juvenile victim lying in the alley between Euclid Avenue and Central Drive. The victim was unresponsive and appeared to be suffering from apparent gunshot wound(s). Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Detectives are canvassing the neighborhood and interviewing potential witnesses. This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
