On January 24, 2020, at 1801 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the scene of a stabbing in the 900 block of East Washington Boulevard following a disturbance.

Details/Summary:
Fort Wayne Police were called to the scene of a stabbing at 915E Washington Blvd following some sort of disturbance. Upon arrival they found an adult male suffering from what appeared to be a stab wound. He was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. After arrival to the hospital he was pronounced deceased. The suspect has not been located and left on foot prior to police arrival. The male will be identified by the Allen County Coroner after notification of next of kin.
Homicide Division and Crime Scene are at the location of the stabbing interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence. At this time we are asking for anyone with any information to please call the Detective Bureau at 427-1201 or Crime Stoppers 436-STOP.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
