On December 23, 2021, the Fort Wayne Police Department arrested Jenna Mae Miller in connection with the death of her son, Elijah Thomas Ross, in the 800 block of Putnam Street.

Jenna Mae Miller was arrested today (12/23/21) in connection with the death investigation of Elijah Thomas Ross, 9 years of age from Fort Wayne, that occurred on 12/18/21 on 800 Putnam St. Jenna Miller is the biological mother of Elijah.
Suspect Arrested: Jenna Mae Miller, 36 years of age, from Fort Wayne
Preliminary Charges:
- Neglect of Dependent Causing Death – Level 1 Felony
- Neglect of a Dependent Failure to render Medical Aid – Level 1 Felony
- c – Level 6 Felony
- Neglect of a Dependent – Level 6 Felony
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
