On December 6th, 2022 at approximately 0243 hours, FWPD officers responded to the intersection of W. Jefferson Blvd. and Ewing St. on a shooting. Initial responding officers located a victim in the street at the intersection of Jefferson and Fairfield Ave. and they were transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries. Officers on scene learned the shooting had occurred in a private parking lot at the intersection of Jefferson and Ewing St. and detained a suspect in the parking lot without incident. Homicide detectives interviewed witnesses and gathered video surveillance from area businesses. FWPD Crime Scene, ASU, and the ACPAO assisted with this investigation.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
