FWPD Update: Shooting Investigation Arrests, 1100 block Fayette Drive

On October 20, 2022 at 1800 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department took two individuals into custody in reference to the shooting investigation in the 1100 block of Fayette Drive.

Suspect #1 Arrested: Riley Irving
Preliminary Charges:

  1. Attempted Murder
  2. Robbery (Serious Bodily Injury)
  3. Kidnapping

Suspect #2 Arrested: Juvenile

  2. Robbery (Serious Bodily Injury)
  3. Kidnapping

Details/Summary:

On October 20th, 2022 at approximately 1800 hours, the FWPD Homicide Division took into custody two individuals from the shooting investigation in the 1100 block of Fayette Dr.. One adult (Riley Irving) and one juvenile were taken into custody with the assistance of FWPD Vice and Narcotics, FWPD Gang Unit, EST/CRT, and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office. Both Irving and the juvenile were charged with Attempted Murder, Robbery (Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury), and Kidnapping.

All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
