Details/Summary:
On Friday October 14th 2022 at approximately 1927 hours, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to the 6000 block of Hessen Cassel Rd on a report of a vehicle collision. When police arrived they located 2 white sedans with heavy front end damage. Witnesses on scene stated crash occurred when one of the vehicles crossed the center line, striking the other vehicle in oncoming traffic.
A total of 5 adult individuals were transported by medics to local area hospitals, 1 later declared to have ‘life threatening injuries’.
This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department FACT team and the Allen County Prosecutors Office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
