A suspect has been arrested by the Fort Wayne Police Department.
On October 14, 2022, at 0235 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to the 7900 block of Decatur Road on reports of a woman who had been stabbed.

Details/Summary:
On Friday October 14th 2022 at approximately 0235 am, Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to the 7900 block of Decature Rd on reports of a woman being stabbed. Officer located an adult female victim who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A second, adult male victim, was transported to a local hospital with non-life threating injuries. A person of interest has been identified and is currently detained. It is unknow at this time if the male victim is also a suspect.
This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
