Details/Summary:
On Saturday, 08/20/2022, at approximately 1:29 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 1500 block of E. Lewis Street regarding a problem unknown.
Officers arrived on scene to find an adult female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. A large gathering was taking place at the residence when the shooter(s) fired several rounds, one striking the victim. Several people attending the gathering left the scene before police arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is reported as being in lifethreatening. condition. Investigators are canvasing the area for any potential witnesses or evidence.
