
On August 10, 2025, at 0718 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the 1600 block of Wells Street in reference to a structure fire.
Time of Alarm: 0718 hours
On Scene: 0722 hours
Under Control: 0740 hours
Fire Engine 7 arrived to find a two-story structure with flames coming from the attic. The fire was extinguished and the building searched for possible victims. The building was unoccupied with a first floor business and second floor apartment both being renovated.
No injuries occurred at this incident and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
