Update on the weekend’s homicide and shooting investigations by the Fort Wayne Police Department.

Shootings:
4700 Calhoun St. 7/4/22, Monday at 8:46 pm (news release sent)
- Victim 1: adult male, deceased at the scene
- Victim 2: adult male, life threatening condition
S.Hanna St./Colerick St., 7/4/22, Monday at 7:39 pm
- Victim 1: adult male, non-life threatening condition
- Victim 2: male juvenile, non-life threatening condition
Details/Summary:
Victim 1 was located at the scene suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Victim 2 was attending a block party when he was shot and was transported to a local hospital by private conveyance. As is protocol, the hospital contacted the police regarding the shooting victim who arrived at the hospital.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
