The Fort Wayne Police Department has arrested Daryl Sawyer in connection with a string of Armed Robberies.

Details/Summary:
Officers responded to a reported Armed Robbery at 2410 N. Coliseum Boulevard (Walgreens). A male black subject wearing a surgical mask, gray hooded sweatshirt, black ballcap, and blue shorts entered the business and pointed a gun at the female clerk. The male subject took cash from the register and fled the store on foot towards Mike’s Car Wash. Officers were quickly in the area and began to search for the suspect. The suspect was located in the rear of Taco Bell (2020 N. Colisem Blvd.) and was taken into custody without incident. Cash and a loaded firearm were recovered at the apprehension location.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
