On May 24, 2022, at 1830 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 7400 block of Cold Springs Boulevard after receiving several calls regarding individuals shooting at each other.
The Fort Wayne Police Department has arrested a suspect in this investigation.

Details/Summary:
On Tuesday, 05/24/2022, at approximately 6:30 PM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 7400 block of Cold Springs Blvd after receiving several calls regarding individuals actively shooting at each other.
Officers arrived on scene to find that an adult male victim had been transported to a local hospital via private conveyance with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim is reported to be in non-life-threatening condition. Several vehicles on scene were damaged during the incident. Detectives are canvasing the area and speaking with several witnesses.

This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
