NWS: Prolonged heat wave continues

The National Weather Service forecasts that the very hot and humid conditions will continue through at least Tuesday with heat indices between 100 and 105 degrees.

Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 22, 2025) – Very hot and humid conditions will continue through at least Tuesday with heat indices 100-105. Warm overnight lows will provide little/no relief. An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect. Check on those who may be vulnerable to heat and watch for signs of heat-related illnesses! Heat and humidity will slowly subside through the end of the week. A few strong storms may also be possible on Tuesday evening.
