The Captains (11-13, 42-47) unlocked a scoreless tie in the top of the fifth with two outs when center fielder Jake Fox(No. 8 Guardians prospect) blasted an RBI double. The only other run Lake County scored was in the seventh as right fielder Cesar Idrogo scored on a two-out wild pitch.First-place Fort Wayne (14-10, 46-44) was held to just two hits.
