City offices to be closed in recognition of Juneteenth – 6/19/2025

The City of Fort Wayne’s offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19 in recognition of Juneteenth.

News release from the City of Fort Wayne:

City offices to be closed in recognition of Juneteenth

Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 15, 2025) – The City of Fort Wayne’s offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19 in recognition of Juneteenth.

There will be no residential garbage or recycling collection on Thursday. Thursday’s garbage and recycling will be collected on Friday, and Friday’s will be collected on Saturday.

The City will resume regular business hours on Friday, June 20.
