Details/Summary:
On Sunday December 24th 2023 at approximately 312 hrs Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area of Tillman & Hanna. The initial caller stated several men were arguing followed by an exchange of gunfire. Another caller indicated there was a large group in the area of Tillman park, and several cars in the area that dispersed quickly after hearing multiple gunshots.
Upon arrival officers located a crashed vehicle near Hanna & Tillman with 2 adult male victims suffering apparent gunshot wounds. Both were taken to a local area hospital by TRAA medics, where the passenger was said to be in stable condition, and the driver said to be suffering life threatening injuries.
Hanna St will remain closed between Tillman Road and Tillman Park until the conclusion of the investigation.
This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
