FWPD: Cocaine Dealer Arrest, 6200 block Pheasant Pass

On January 17, 2023, at 1500 hours, detectives with the FWPD Gang and Violent Crimes Unit were conducting a narcotics and firearrms investigation at 6204 Pheasant Pass.

Prelimary Charges:

  1. Dealing cocaine
  2. Unlawful carry of a handgun
  3. Neglect of a dependant
  4. Resisting LEO
  5. Possession of cocaine
  6. Possession of methamphetamine

Details/Summary:

Detectives with the Gang and Violent Crimes Unit had been conducting a narcotics & firearrms investigation at 6204 Pheasant Pass on Kevin Jones. Officers obtained a search warrant for the home and cocaine charges on Jones.

Detectives attempted a stop on Jones leaving the home, and led us on a pursuit. He threw his backpack out the window, but it got caught on the door. Once apprehended, we recovered from the backpack: 512 grams of fentanyl/fake percacet pills, 87 grams of cocaine, and 30 grams of powder fentanyl. During the warrant, we recovered 3 illegal fireams, more fentanyl, and methamphetamine.

Four small children were in the home, and the narcotics and firearms were in reach of them.

All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
