Worship Anew presented second half of grant for magazine for aging adults
Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 9, 2025) — Worship Anew was blessed to receive a $100,000 grant from the Lutheran Women in Mission – LWML to fund the creation of the Broadcaster magazine. The grant was awarded over two years.
The Broadcaster magazine is a monthly publication for aging adults that provides practical articles to support their spiritual, mental, and physical wellbeing.
Fort Wayne LWML held a rally on May 3 where the second half of the grant was presented to members of Worship Anew (Matthew Leighty, executive director, and Ashley Wiehe, director of communications, shown in the photo). The check was presented by Margie Wickert, LWML representative (shown at middle).
The grant allows the Broadcaster magazine to be made available to individuals and churches for support of aging adults.
