On May 11, 2025, at 2330 hours, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of U.S. 30 and Kromer Road for a crash involving a car and a motorcycle.

Details/Summary:
At approximately 1130 pm officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of U.S. 30 & Kromer Rd for a crash involving a car and a motorcycle. When they arrived, they found the rider of the motorcycle, an adult male, in critical condition. Fire & medics attempted life saving measures, but the rider was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the other vehicle was unharmed. At this point in the investigation, it does not appear alcohol or speed were a factor.
This incident remains under investigation with the Fort Wayne Police Department Fatal Crash Team and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
