The Allen County Coroner has identified DaiLoni Edward Hollis Daniels as the 14th Allen County Homicide in 2024.
News release from the Allen County Coroner:
On January 27, 2024, at about 21:10 hours the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a shooting in the 2900 block of Shawnee Drive, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced deceased.
The victim was identified as DaiLoni Edward Hollis Daniels, male, Black, 23 months old from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Notification has been made to the next of kin. The Cause of Death is Gunshot Wound of Head, and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
DaiLoni Edward Hollis Daniels is the 14th Homicide for Allen County in 2024.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s office.
