Community Harvest Food Bank Announces Updates to Farm Wagon Distribution Schedule

Fort Wayne, Indiana (April 28, 2025) – Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana has announced updates to its weekly Farm Wagon distribution schedule effective May 1, 2025. Farm Wagon is a mobile pantry program that distributes food at no cost to individuals and families in need of assistance. Weekly stops include the counties of Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wells, and Whitley. Anyone in need is welcome to attend.

Upcoming changes:

  • The Farm Wagon distribution previously scheduled on Tuesday afternoons at the 1010 N. Coliseum Blvd. location in Fort Wayne will cease distributions going forward. Clients currently attending that Farm Wagon location are encouraged to attend the weekly distribution at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on 518 E. Dewald St. in Fort Wayne on Fridays at 1:00 PM, or the Saturday Helping Hands distribution at 999 E. Tillman Rd. in Fort Wayne on Saturdays at 8:00-10:00 AM.
  • In DeKalb County, the existing weekly stop at Garrett United Methodist Church will now be the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Monday of each month.
  • A second DeKalb County location will begin at Heimach Center, 1800 E. 7th St. in Auburn, which will take place on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 9:00 AM. (Clients should line up on Smith Dr. off Wesley Rd.)

All Farm Wagon distribution attendees should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of each distribution. Distributions last approximately one hour, so prompt arrival is important.
