Details/Summary:
On May 29, 2024, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the area of 1500 Woodside Ave at approximately 10:20pm on a shots fired call, with a possible shooting victim. Once Officers arrived, they found an adult male victim with gunshot wounds to the leg. Officers rendered aid at the scene until Paramedics arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.
FWPD Detectives and Officers at the scene spoke to witnesses and canvassed the area for any evidence. At this time, there is no suspect information nor is there any threat to public safety.
This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
