On April 18th, 2024, the Fort Wayne Police Department was notified of a complaint regarding an adult male who exposed himself and masturbated in front of a 15-year-old juvenile victim at the Shawnee Branch at the Allen County Public Library.

Details/Summary:
On April 18th, 2024 the Fort Wayne Police Department was notified of a complaint regarding an adult male who exposed himself and masturbated in front of a 15-year-old juvenile victim at the Shawnee Branch at the Allen County Public Library. Detective Sergeant James Haupert of the Crimes Against Persons Unit began the investigation. During the investigation, the suspect was identified as Tyquane Stewart. Yesterday, Stewart was taken into custody for a felony count of Public Indecency. The Fort Wayne Police Department thanks the staff of the Allen County Public Library and the Dr. Bill Lewis Center for Children for their assistance and support during this investigation.
