One adult female motorcyclist is in life threatening condition after a traffic accident that occurred just after 5 pm in the area of the 3100 block of North Clinton Street this evening, June 20, 2024.

Details/Summary:

One adult female motorcyclist is in life threatening condition after a traffic accident that occurred just after 5pm in the area of 3100 N. Clinton St. this evening. Witness accounts allege that the motorcycle driver was showboating and doing tricks on her motorcycle in heavy traffic when she loss control avoiding a collision with another vehicle traveling south bound on N. Clinton. After losing control, the motorcyclist crashed into a pole on the western side of the roadway. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet. She was transported from the scene by TRAA in critical condition and downgraded to life threatening condition at the hospital. All involved parties are cooperating with the investigation.

The Fort Wayne Police Department Fatal Accident Crash Team made the scene and took over the investigation. This incident remains under investigation by the FWPD and Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
