On July 1, 2024, at 18:51 hours, a person reported a personal injury traffic accident around the South Clinton and East Brackenridge Streets intersection in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On Monday July 1st, around 6:51 pm, a person reported a personal injury traffic accident around the South Clinton and East Brackenridge Streets intersection. The Fort Wayne Police Department responded and discovered that a male on a motorcycle T-boned a vehicle coming out of the US post office.
The male’s condition at the scene was determined to be life-threatening. Later, per the ER hospital staff, he was pronounced dead. It is believed that speed and light conditions were factors in this accident.
This incident is being investigated by the Fort Wayne department’s FACT and by the Allen County Coroner’s office.
