Today, the Allen County Sheriff’s Department arrested Andrew Hambrock on several child molesting charges.

Details/Summary:

On April 25, 2024, a mother summoned an officer after discovering her daughter had been molested. The child told the officer that Andrew Hambrock was her abuser. Detective Chuck Volz, an investigator with the FWPD Crimes Against Persons Section (CAPS), was assigned as the lead investigator. The child disclosed details about her abuse while being interviewed at the Dr. Bill Lewis Center For Children. Detective Volz submitted his case, which lead to an Arrest Warrant for the alleged defendant. He was arrested today by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department-Warrants Division. Detective Volz was also assisted by the Fort Wayne Sexual Assault Treatment Center, the Indiana Department of Child Services-Allen County, and an advocate from FWPD Victims Assistance.
