On March 16, 2026, at 1736 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 3400 block of Auer Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1736 hours
On Scene: 1740 hours
Under Control: 1751 hours
FWFD Engine 13 arrived with other FWFD units to find smoke showing from multiple areas of the home. Crews entered the home to check for occupants and pets – none were found. Crews extinguished the fire in a rear room of the house.
No injuries were reported. One pet was removed from the house prior to firefighters arrival.
The fire remains under investigation.
