On March 13, 2026, at 1424 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 3400 block of Senate Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On Scene: 1427 hours
Under Control: 1446 hours
The first firefighters arrived and found fire coming from the rear of the house. Crews advanced hose lines into the house to extinguish the fire. Firefighters were hampered by the high winds today. The fire was brought under control in approximately twenty minutes.
No injuries were reported at the time of this report.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
One occupant was home at the time of the fire and was able to self-evacuate without injury.
