
On March 6, 2026, at 1653 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 6300 block of Hanna Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1456 hours
On Scene: 1459 hours
Under Control: 1513 hours
The first firefighters on the scene found smoke coming from the house and began firefighting operations. The fire was brought under control in approximately 15 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
The homeowner was in the house at the time of the fire and was able to self-evacuate. They were assisted by the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental.
