On February 20, 2026, at 0640 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 3800 block of Evergreen Lane, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Under Control: 0652 hours
Firefightgers arrived on the scene and made an aggressive interior attack and searched for occupants. The fire was quickly extinguished. Overhaul and salvage operations were completed by crews. The FWFD asks the public to never re-enter a building that is on fire.
