On February 15, 2026, at 1437 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 400 block of Fairfax Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1437 hours
On Scene: 1439 hours
Under Control: 1458 hours
Fort Wayne Fire Department Battalion Chief 11 was the first to arrive on the scene and observed a one-story house with fire and smoke venting from a window. Firefighters entered the home to search for victims and extinguish the fire.
No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries occurred.
The cause is being investigated.
