Update to the New Haven Boil Order Advisory, at 10 a.m., January 30, 2026.
New Haven, Indiana (January 30, 2026) — Crews with New Haven Public Works have identified the location of the water main break along the south side of SR 930 between Hartzell Rd and Werling Rd. We are working toward a resolution as quickly and safely as possible. Water pressure has been restored to most of New Haven. The boil order advisory remains in effect at this time.
What this means:
Until further notice, all tap water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or food preparation should be boiled for at least one (1) minute and allowed to cool before use. Bottled water may also be used.Next steps:
