Details/Summary:
On December 21, 2025, at 4:33am, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a shooting at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and W Paulding Road. Officers arrived and located a male suffering from apparent gunshot wound(s) inside a vehicle at the intersection. Medics arrived shortly after and pronounced the victim deceased.
At this time, it is unknown what led to the shooting. Detectives are currently canvasing the area, looking for any evidence or video surveillance. Crime Scene technicians are searching for and processing any evidence.
There are currently no suspects. Anyone with any information is asked to contact police. The intersection will be closed while the investigation is taking place.
