On December 17, 2025, at 0016 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 5000 block of Oliver Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Under Control: 0037 hours
When firefighters arrived, there was fire and smoke showing from the windows of the home. Crews entered the home to make sure everyone was out and started to work on the fire. The fire was extinguished quickly, and crews began working on checking for hidden fire.
The homeowner was able to escape along with his dogs prior to our arrival.
Crews will remain on scene until the house is cleared of any fire.
