Details/Summary:
On 12/15/2025 at 0935 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a shooting in the area of Laverne Avenue and Lake Avenue. The victim was located in the area of 800 N. Coliseum Blvd, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area trauma Center and was classified in Life-Threatening Condition. The Fort Wayne Homicide Unit conducted the criminal investigation and identified the suspect as 75yo Richard Krueckeberg. Richard was arrested without incident and charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery. He was transported to the Allen County Jail.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
