Franciscan Center Family Thrift Launches First-Ever “Bin Sale” – Two Days Only!
Fort Wayne, Indiana (December 10, 2025) — The Franciscan Center is excited to announce its first-ever Bin Sale at the organization’s furniture store location on Friday and Saturday, December 12 & 13, from Noon to 6:00 p.m. This special event will take place at 500 E. State Boulevard, in the former Kelly Chevrolet building across from Northside High School.
What’s a Bin Sale?
Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Fort Wayne community, the Family Thrift Store has received thousands of pounds of donated clothing… more than we can store! To make room and share these items affordably, we’re offering clothing by the pound… just $1.50 per pound! “Shoppers can fill their carts, drive their cart right onto our industrial scale for quick check out, and be on their way. It’s that simple,” explains Tony Ley, Executive Director of the Franciscan Center.
“This is a fun, first-time event for us,” adds Tony. “We want families to find great deals and maybe even check off their holiday shopping lists while supporting a good cause.”

Every purchase helps fund the Franciscan Center’s vital programs, including its food pantry, healthcare cabinet, and sack lunch ministries serving the southeast side of town. Your shopping makes a direct impact on neighbors in need.

Celebrating its 36th year in 2025, the Franciscan Center was founded in 1989 and is a local non-profit serving the impoverished in our community through their food bank, healthcare cabinet, and sack lunch programs.
