FWPD: Thunder Bowl Shooting Investigation Arrest

On December 4, 2025, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the Thunder Bowl at 6700 block of Lafayette Street in reference to a shooting.

  3. Battery with a Deadly Weapon
  4. Criminal Recklessness Shooting a Firearm into a Gathering

Details/Summary:

On December 4, 2025, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 6700 block of S. Lafayette St in reference to a shooting investigation. FWPD Officers arrived and located multiple shooting victims. The victims were transported to area trauma centers in life threatening and non-life-threatening conditions. Homicide Detectives conducted a criminal investigation, and Tristan Pernell 24yoa was identified as a suspect in the shooting. On December 8, 2025, Pernell was placed under arrest and preliminary charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Battery, Battery with a Deadly Weapon, and Criminal Recklessness Shooting a Firearm into a Gathering.

All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
