On December 1, 2025, at 2025 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a car fire near a large multi-garage/storage unit at the Indian Village Manor complex at 2121 Engle Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Under Control: 2107 hours
Upon arrival, firefighters found a car on fire that had extended into the large garage/storage units. Fire crews pulled multiple handlines to extinguish the fire. Crews had forced open several garage doors by cutting them open. No occupants were found in units. Fire was deemed under control in about 40 minutes. Fire crews completed salvage and overhaul of garage/storage units.
Fire investigators investigated the incident and determined the caused and origin, not listed in the incident report.
