News release from Allen Superior Court:

Allen Superior Court Drug Court Program to Graduate 59th Class

Fort Wayne, Indiana (November 26, 2026) – Allen Superior Court’s Drug Court program will hold its 59th graduation on Monday (December 1, 2025). Twenty-four (24) people are scheduled to graduate and embark on the next phase of their lives.

Graduation will take place beginning at 1:30 p.m. in Courtroom 1 of the Allen County Courthouse. Invited to participate are the 24 Drug Court graduates, ranging in age from 23 to 64 years old. Since the program’s launch in 1997, more than 1,300 people have graduated from Drug Court, including those graduating on Monday.

Media are invited to attend and photograph or record the event.

Monday’s keynote speaker will be Abby Heidenreich, a staunch Drug Court supporter. Paige John Davenport, a previous Drug Court graduate, will give the Closing Remarks.

This graduating class has accomplished much on its road to recovery. Among their many milestones have been reunification with families, achievement of employment and financial stability, obtaining housing, enrollment in college courses, and receiving a high school equivalency diploma.

Monday’s graduates are celebrating a combined total of 332 months of sobriety. On average, they have spent 17 months in the program.

Drug Court’s goal is to reduce recidivism and break the link between substance abuse and crime by providing offenders with access to specialized prevention and treatment services. That support is combined with the structure, authority, and accountability of the court.
