Candy Wrapper Recycling Program returns for Halloween
Fort Wayne, Indiana (October 27, 2025) – STOP! Don’t pitch those candy wrappers! Recycle them through Eco Fest’s Candy Wrapper Recycling Program.
Eco Fest and their local partners are collecting candy wrappers as part of their efforts to make Halloween a little more green.

Drop off now though 11/7WAIT! Is that an accepted candy wrapper? Some wrappers are not accepted though this program.
WHAT’S ACCEPTED:
- Blister Packs (example: gum)
- Flexible Packaging (example: Snickers, Kit-Kat, Laffy Taffy, Skittles wrappers)
- Plastic Foil-Lined Wrappers (example: Lindt Truffle wrappers)
NOT ACCEPTED:
- Cardboard Master Cartons
- Food Waste
- Paper Based Wrappers (example: dum-dum sucker wrappers, tootsie-roll wrappers)
- Wooden & Bamboo sticks
