Career Fair Showcases Job Opportunities with Allen County
Allen County, Indiana (October 16, 2025) – The Allen County Human Resources Department is hosting its annual career fair on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Memorial Coliseum, from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Allen County is one of the top employers in the area with over 1,800 full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees. With 30+ departments, county government provides a range of services requiring a diverse workforce. Requirements for county career opportunities span multi-industry skill sets, backgrounds, and education levels.
Some of the departments who will have representatives on hand at the Fair include Planning Services, Highway Department, Sheriff’s Department and many more.
Allen County Human Resource Director, Nancy Steigmeyer, shared that, “We strive to make Allen County an employer of choice offering competitive pay and benefits, along with great leadership development opportunities. We have a wide range of career options right now and are looking forward to adding qualified talent to our high-caliber team.”
Attendees may bring a resume, but all applications are completed online. Computer kiosks will be available to apply for a career that day. Free parking is provided during the Fair.
