Fort Wayne, Indiana (January 15, 2025) – Please join Chief Counsel Tesa Helge on October 16 as she formally announces her Republican candidacy for Allen County Prosecutor.
Tesa has dedicated 18 years to serving the citizens of Allen County in the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with law enforcement, attended crime scenes, and advanced through nearly every division of the Office.
Tesa has been a steadfast advocate for victims of crime and their families, often taking cases to trial to ensure justice is served. Tesa previously led the Sex Crimes Unit, where she compassionately sought justice for victims of sexual violence.
In January of 2023, Tesa was appointed Chief Counsel for the Prosecutor’s Office, assuming leadership over the Homicide Unit. In that role she has worked alongside law enforcement and has charged, assigned, and prosecuted murder cases, frequently going to trial to ensure violent offenders received appropriate sentences.
Tesa’s experience, leadership, and commitment to justice make her uniquely qualified for the candidacy of Allen County Prosector.
