Traffic Alert: Sherman Boulevard

On October 13, 2025, crews will work on a water main on Sherman Boulevard, which will be closed during the repair.

Traffic Alert: Sherman Boulevard Detour Monday

Fort Wayne, Indiana (October 12, 2025) – Beginning at 8:00 AM on Monday, October 13, crews will work on a water main on Sherman Boulevard, which will be closed during the repair. A vehicle detour will be in place as follows:

  • Northbound traffic: Spring Street to Wells Street to West State Boulevard
  • Southbound traffic: West State Boulevard to Wells Street to Spring Street

Residents in the area will have access to their homes. The repair is expected to last through late Monday afternoon.
