On October 12, 2025 at 1940 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Broadway due to reports of multiple subjects on the roof of an abandoned Electric Works building.

Details/Summary:
On Sunday, October 12, 2025 at approximately 7:40PM, officers from the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Broadway due to reports of multiple subjects on the roof of an abandoned Electric Works building. Officers approaching from the area of Martin St and Hendricks St located a male, adult suffering from multiple injuries near the railroad tracks adjacent to the property. FWFD arrived on scene and pronounced the male deceased, prompting FWPD Detectives, Crime Scene, ASU and the Coroner to be paged.
Detectives are currently on scene collecting witness statements, evidence, and camera footage. This incident is being investigated by the FWPD Homicide Team, Crime Scene, and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
